The best thing about joining ARK is that the ideas in my head can more easily come to fruition.

Please tell us about your career before you met ARK.

I came to Japan after graduating from a university in China and joined a Japanese consulting firm as a new graduate. I was mainly involved in infrastructure projects such as cloud computing and SAP infrastructure. I was with the firm for 4 years, but eventually changed to a foreign consulting firm to advance my career. I participated in logistics and PMO projects, and although I am still working in the same SAP industry, I was able to gain have a different work experience. While I started to get comfortable with the stability of being in a large company, my desire to try new things grew, and I was invited by my friend that I met from a previous job who is also the founder of ARK. After receiving an explanation of the company's philosophy and policies, I was convinced that ARK was a place where I could take on the challenges I wanted to take on, and such I decided to join ARK.

What areas are you currently focusing on?

I have experience in the infrastructure and logistics areas that I would like to continue to develop during my career, but I am also aware that my experience in the logistics area is still lacking, so I would like to further experience and improve my skills in that area at the moment. I would also like to be proactive and always keep up with the latest technology in the infrastructure area.

What are the strengths of ARK in your point of view?

We believe that ARK's strength lies in its policy of developing new business opportunities by levering its strength in SAP. The majority of the employees have extensive SAP experience, and many have experience in multiple modules. The company as a whole is highly specialized in SAP to be able to respond to the needs of our customers. In addition, ARK doesn't only focus on SAP, but are consciously trying to create business pillars outside of SAP. We are constantly gathering information about the latest technologies, finding out what is trending in the world, and challenging ourselves.

What do you think is the best thing about joining ARK?

In an open environment like ours, the higher-ups are always willing to listen, so if you firmly convey to your superiors your desire to challenge something new, they will often support you. Compared to the large companies I had worked for, ARK has made it possible for me to do things that were difficult to do in the past. I think the best thing about joining ARK is that the ideas in my head can more easily come to fruition.

What do you want to achieve by joining ARK?

Cloud technology and other IT technologies are evolving day by day. I would like to proactively understand and master the latest technologies, and then use the experience I have accumulated as an IT consultant to provide solutions that will help customers solve their DX process issues.
